Jeffrey Peterson, DO, leads the exceptional team of medical professionals at Pinnacle Orthopaedics, a premier orthopaedic & sports medicine practice in Sparta and McMinnville, Tennessee. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient care, Dr. Peterson strives each and every day to provide the highest quality care to Pinnacle patients!
Dr. Peterson is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, attending medical school there after completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He then completed his internship and his orthopaedic residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital (Michigan State University) in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
Dr. Peterson holds memberships with the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association. Additionally, he is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has been published in the American Journal of Orthopedics.
A happily married family man, Dr. Peterson resides in McMinnville, Tennessee, with his wife and children. When not dedicating his time to his orthopaedic practice, Dr. Peterson serves as a volunteer orthopedic physician for the Warren County School System's Sports Medicine Team. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, boating, wake surfing, and snow skiing, and he is an avid fan of the Nashville Predators.
